Doug Rotman has spent his entire career in financial planning. After graduating in 2000 from Cedarville University with a B.A. in both Finance and Computer Information Systems, Doug moved to the Indianapolis area to begin helping clients reach their goals. Doug has experience helping a variety of clients both locally and across the country. He takes a comprehensive approach in getting to know his clients so he can deliver advice tailored to their specific needs.
Doug Rotman is a CFP® practitioner (or CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner). In addition to continuing education requirements to maintain his CFP® status, Doug is also held to a fiduciary standard. More simply put, Doug is held to the standard of doing what is in his client's best interest.
Raised in a home where both parents were teachers, Doug enjoys educating his clients and helping them understand a financial industry that often uses words and acronyms that often don't make sense to those outside of Wall Street. With the heart of a teacher, Doug is a Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Pro.
One of Doug's passions is to be a special help to widows and widowers in a time of great need.
Active in the community, Doug serves on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Indiana and volunteers with the Finance Ministry at Northview Church in Carmel, IN.
Doug also stays busy exercising, preparing for triathlons, and cheering on the Cubs and the Colts. He especially enjoys visiting his family and spending time with his beautiful wife, Emily. Doug and Emily welcomed their first child late in 2016, bringing about Doug's newest passion: learning to be a great father!
